For decades, the religious right rallied behind one of the most emotionally charged issues in America: abortion. Activists stood outside clinics, donated millions, lobbied politicians, and launched nationwide campaigns—all under the banner of protecting the unborn.
You couldn’t turn on the news without seeing someone holding a sign that read “Every Life Matters” or “Save the Children.” There were marches, prayer vigils, and even boycotts. The energy was fierce. The commitment was loud.
But now, with headlines surfacing about the exploitation, trafficking, and abuse of living children—children who weren’t aborted—where is that same fire?
Where are the protests outside institutions that failed these kids? Where’s the financial backing for investigations, recovery programs, and survivor protection? Where’s the televised outrage?
We’re not here to re-litigate the abortion debate. This isn’t about drawing a line in the sand. It’s about asking a simple question:
If life begins at conception, does the value of that life vanish after birth—once it becomes inconvenient to confront who might be responsible?
Because protecting children doesn’t stop at the womb.
It’s easy to mobilize when the enemy is abstract—when it’s Roe v. Wade or a clinic down the street. But when the villains wear suits, own islands, or fund elections, the silence becomes deafening.
